Although Kyrie Irving has decided to accept his player option with the Brooklyn Nets for next season, rumors about a possible trade have not died down. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers seemed potentially ahead of everyone else for Kyrie before he made his decision, but apparently there are at least three other top teams that want Irving.
According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the three other franchises that have significant interest in a potential trade for the enigmatic Nets superstar are the Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers:
“There were other teams considering him for a possible trade–Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia.” Shams said on the Pat McAfee Show. “But at the end of the day, he made a move where he said, ‘I’m committed. I’m staying in Brooklyn, I want to win here’ “.

We are convinced that this is not the end of it. Officially free agency hasn’t started yet so the market hasn’t started for all intents and purposes … let’s give it a couple more weeks to figure things out, let’s remember that his move from Cleveland to Boston was really sudden and abrupt. You can never sleep easy when Kyrie Irving is involved.
