Despite Nikola Jokic recording yet another triple double, the Denver Nuggets lost to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night. In addition, the Serbian big man recorded a result he never wanted to record.
The Nuggets were outscored by 19 points in the second quarter and by 12 points in the fourth quarter. Although Jokic finished the game with 22 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, he missed an impressive 23 shots from the field and recorded 4 turnovers.

This is the most shots missed by Jokic in his entire NBA career. The previous worst result was in 2021 against the Charlotte Hornets, when he missed 21 shots. These are the only two occasions when Jokic missed more than 20 shots on a single night.
Nikola Jokic has been dominant this season, averaging 29 points (8th in the NBA), 12.8 rebounds (1st) and 9.8 assists (3rd) per game. With 14 wins and 8 losses, the Nuggets are currently third in the Western Conference.
We are confident that this was just a misstep and that Nikola Jokic will fix everything in the Denver Nuggets’ next challenge, which they play on Friday night against the Houston Rockets.
