Nikola Jokic, the Denver Nuggets superstar and latest NBA champion, has named five NBA players who would make up the All-European team according to him.
According to Harrison Wind, Jokic named the following names, all from post-Yugoslav countries, among the top five.
- Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks),
- Bogdan Bogdanovic(Atlanta Hawks),
- Dario Saric(Golden State Warriors),
- Nikola Vucevic (Chicago Bulls),

All the names on Nikola Jokic’s list are having remarkable seasons, and he is at the forefront of that reality. Currently ranked first on the Kia MVP Ladder, Jokic averages 26.1 points, 12 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game.
Fellow forward Nikola Vucevic is also averaging 17.5 points and 10.6 rebounds per game, as well as 3.4 assists. As for Saric, the Croatian wing has more modest numbers, with averages of 9.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
It is strange not to read, for example, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s name on this list but we know how much Jokic cares about his Balkans and so we imagine he did not include the Greek for that reason.
Let’s see if Nikola Jokic will win the MVP again and if Luka Doncic will make it sooner or later.
