Scandals seem to be the order of the day in the NBA these days: the cases of Robert Sarver, who will sell the Suns, and Ime Udoka, suspended for an entire season, now join an anecdote told by Nick Young. To call it a “scandal” would be an exaggeration, however, since no laws or rights appear to have been violated: simply the player of the then-Washington Wizards had gone too far with the fun.
Interviewed by VladTV, Young recounted that, when he was a rookie, a Wizards cheerleader was fired for sleeping with him and Andrey Blatche. “Everyone at practice was blaming us for his dismissal.” Swaggy P. laughingly recalled.
