Actor found to play Dennis Rodman in 48 Hours in Vegas

There are many stories with respect to when Dennis Rodman decided to take a break from the Chicago Bulls in Michael Jordan’s The Last Dance in 1998. The star apparently needed time off, so he Rodman decided to turn his back on Michael Jordan and co. right in the middle of the Finals to take a quick 48-hour trip to Las Vegas.

This infamous event will now be recounted in a movie, and it seems that the producers have found the perfect actor to play Rodman in Vegas. According to Deadline’s Justin Kroll, Jonathan Majors has been chosen to take on the lead role in the upcoming film:

Sources say Jonathan Majors is in talks to play Rodman aka “The Worm” in “48 Hours in Vegas.”

Although a deal is not finalized, sources say Majors agrees on virtually everything and negotiations are moving in the right direction.

Fans of the Marvel world know Majors, who debuted as Kang the Conqueror in the Disney+ Loki series. The 33-year-old is now set to make his first big-screen appearance as Kang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He will also reprise the same role in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, scheduled for release in 2025.
