New Orleans Pelicans, what a blow: Zion Williamson out for second play-in

Zion Williamson was the best player on the field in the first play-in between New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers. Despite his 40 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists, to its misfortune NOLA lost and will therefore have to win tomorrow against the Sacramento Kings to qualify for the Playoffs. The bad news is that in the game against the Kings, Williamson will not be there..

The Pelicans star suffered a muscle injury in the finale of the game against the Lakers: Will be reevaluated in 2 weeks. A real tragedy for his team since, even if the Pelicans manage to beat Sacramento, Zion would probably miss most if not all of the subsequent series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

And to say that this had been a very positive season for Zion Williamson from the point of view of injuries: the player had missed only 12 games so far, playing 70 that is his career high so far. Zion has maintained 22.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.0 assists on average, shooting 57 percent from the field.
