New Orleans Pelicans anxious about yet another physical problem for Zion Williamson. The Pelicans star ended the game against the Philadelphia 76ers prematurely, then lost 120-111. Williamson exited in the third quarter, when he had already scored 26 points in 28 minutes of usage. Stopping him was a muscle problem in his right thigh., charged without any physical contact.

For now there is not much news about the extent of the injury but in the New Orleans household everyone, starting with the coach Willie Green who said, “Injury that came at a crucial time and then proved decisive in the defeat. Hopefully we were able to preserve the player by not forcing him, so that we can have him back on the court as soon as possible, for us it is a very heavy loss.”

So far Williamson has produced 26 points, 7 rebounds and nearly 5 assists on average in the 29 games (out of 37) played so far. A performance that has made him the leader of the surprising Pelicans, currently third in the West with a 23-14 record.
