Donovan Mitchell, doping test after 71-point test

Donovan Mitchell, on Monday night, made NBA history by scoring 71 points against Chicago, one of the best scoring performances ever. The guard of the Cleveland Cavaliers then joked on social media, telling about being subjected to a doping test right after the race.

From what is evident from Mitchell’s tweet, both he and Robin Lopez were tested. Between the two of them, they scored 72 points (71 Mitchell and 1 Lopez), something the Cavs center joked about.

This is probably a coincidence. Each player is subjected to doping tests 4 times a season, always unannounced: once during training camp and preseason, twice during the regular season, and finally once during the offseason. All tests are always random.
