The NBA’s investigation into the behavior of Josh Primo, who about a year ago had been accused of sexual harassment by his psychologist and others. The then 20-year-old San Antonio Spurs player had undressed several times in front of various women: in the case of the team’s psychologist, Hillary Cauthen, the accusation was that he had shown her genitals nine times.
Learned of Primo’s behaviors, the Spurs had cut him immediately. Since then the player has remained a free agent, despite the fact that in his first year in the NBA he was spoken of highly in terms of future prospects. With the investigation concluded, the league decided to suspend Primo for 4 games. If a franchise decides to sign him, then, the player will have to serve the disqualification before taking the field in his new jersey.
In his only NBA season, Josh Primo scored an average of 5.8 points. In the 4 games he played in the 2022-23 year, before the cut, he was instead scoring 7.0 points on average.
Primo allegedly exposed himself to women in multiple instances, sources told ESPN. Primo would serve the suspension upon signing with a new team. Primo, 20, was the 12th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. https://t.co/go2Bn8ZiXo
