NBA preseason, Utah loses to San Antonio but Fontecchio is there

It was a bittersweet night for Simone Fontecchio as his Utah lost to San Antonio but he didn\’t do badly at all.

The former Virtus Bologna and Olimpia Milano guy saw the parquet for 12 split minutes and put up 8 points. His shooting percentage can definitely improve why 3/7 from the field and 2/5 from three not unforgettable numbers however everything is improvable.

The Utah Jazz, on the other hand, continue to struggle and this umpteenth defeat is there to prove it. Recall that probably the Salt Lake City franchise\’s season goal is to tank. That is why we will see few wins and many losses, like the one that featured Fontecchio and Utah against San Antonio.

Lauri Markkanen continues to prove he can make a difference for the Jazz, while San Antonio\’s top scorers were. Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson with 24 and 22 points apiece.

Let\’s see how Fontecchio\’s first year in the NBA goes. On Friday night Utah will play its last preseason game against Dallas before starting official Thursday, Oct. 20 at 3 a.m. Italian time against Nikola Jokic\’s Denver Nuggets.
