NBA and Google’s resounding tributes to LeBron James

On the night LeBron James has become the best scorer in NBA history.

LBJ reached 38390 points scored in his career, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who was in the front row to see him and was immediately congratulated. Tributes came from many colleagues but there are two very curious ones.

Clearly, the overtaking has monopolized the NBA’s official social media. But the league has also changed its profile image on the various platforms, replacing the traditional logo with a crown yellow and purple for “The King.”

The caption “LeBron James, the #ScoringKing” stands out in the bios of the various NBA profiles and the chosen hashtag has is accompanied by the yellow-violet crown icon whenever it is used on Twitter.

Also singular is the tribute that comes from Google. If you type LeBron James’ name into the popular search engine, icons of baskets, balls and crowns, as well as yellow confetti, appear along with the most indexed pages.
