In recent days Terry Rozier had been juxtaposed with the Miami Heat, but also to the Los Angeles Lakers. In the end, the Florida franchise quickly closed the deal and, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski, secured the guard from the Charlotte Hornets.
Also included in the trade is. Kyle Lowry, who is expected to remain with the Hornets for the time being except, perhaps, to receive a buyout later. Trade details:
- Miami receives Terry Rozier
- Charlotte receives Kyle Lowry and a 2027 first-round pick (with protections)
Rozier so far this season has been among the Hornets’ top scorers, with 23.2 points on average: his best year in his career. His contract will expire in the summer of 2025.
