I Los Angeles Lakers will give up LeBron James in the first engagement of their pre-season.
On the Italian night between Sunday and Monday the Yellow Jackets will play the first friendly game of their season, opponents the Golden State Warriors. For the occasion LeBron James will not be there. A decision agreed between the player, the technical staff and the medical staff with a view to centering the forces and not to accelerate too much the time to get into condition.
Thus commented James himself.
There are six pre-season games and I hope to play half of them. We will reason game by game, against Golden State I will not play and then we will evaluate later.
The Lakers will return to the court between Tuesday and Wednesday for a showdown with the Brooklyn Nets, then their pre-season schedule includes a match with the Sacramento Kings, another with Golden State, then Milwaukee Bucks and finally Phoenix Suns.
