The last game of Anthony Davis dates back to Dec. 17, then a foot injury knocked him out for a long time. More than a month later, talk of a comeback is finally beginning for AD: according to Adrian Wojnarowski, the goal would be to return toward the end of next week. About ten more days then, and then if all goes well the Lakers will be able to count again on what had been their best player before the injury.
Davis this season has put together. 27.4 points and 12.1 rebounds average. Without him, however, the Lakers have not sunk; they are still third-last in the West but “only” 2.5 games behind sixth place, which would mean direct Playoffs without going through the Play-in.
