There are often legends of the NBA world, past and present, among his guests. In the last episode there was Paul Pierce, KG’s great friend from his Boston Celtics days. As is often the case, the talk turned to the various lists of best players, this time of the present day.
Pierce did not miss an opportunity to get a not too veiled criticism to LeBron James. The Truth, in fact, is not a great admirer of LBJ and has excluded him in his Top Five Of the best players currently in the NBA. The best five, according to PP, are Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum and Luka Doncic. It is difficult to choose only five athletes among the many phenomena in the world’s premier league, and two other veterans like Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are also missing from this list.
The host, Kevin Garnett, did not agree at all. According to him, in light of LeBron’s recent performance and victory in the In-Season Tournament, LeBron cannot be excluded from this ranking. So KG went so far as to jokingly kick his guest out: “I wouldn’t pick any of these over James! But what are we talking about? Get your c*** out of here!“.
