Lance Stephenson tries to return to NBA: there is signing in G-League

A few days ago, in the audience at the In-Season Tournament finals in Las Vegas, there was also Lance Stephenson. The veteran was present in the stands to probably cheer for the Indiana Pacers, although he also wore a Lakers jersey in the 2018-19 season. Stephenson’s last NBA game was in the 2021-22 season: 46 games between Atlanta and Indiana proper (for the third time in his career). Since then. Born Ready, one of LeBron James’ most famous rivals and provocateurs in his Miami days, played only four games with the Leones de Ponce in the Puerto Rican league last season.

Now, however, it seems Stephenson wants to attempt yet another return to the league. The years are only 33, after all. The player has signed with the Iowa Wolves, G-League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves.. A first step toward reconnecting with the NBA. Incidentally, the Timberwolves have an open roster spot and could give Stephenson a chance.
