Kyrie Irving: “I want to play alongside LeBron in Paris 2024!”

Kyrie Irving is enjoying his 14th season in the NBA and, despite being one of the league’s most controversial figures for his bizarre statements off the court, on the parquet he continues to bring numbers that keep him among a narrow elite: his Dallas Mavericks currently sit in eighth place in the Western Conference with a record of 38 wins and 29 losses, and the 1992-class point guard is producing 25.4 points, 5 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game, despite being close to another game-center like Luka Doncic.

Kyrie Irving already counts in his palmares two gold medals with Team USA, namely the one from the World Cup in Spain in 2014 and the one from the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, but it seems that he does not want to end his adventure with the U.S. National Team jersey: as NBA insider Shams Charania reports, it seems in fact that Irving strongly wants to participate in the upcoming Olympics in Paris. alongside his former partner at the Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James, who as he is known is helping in recruiting the best players to form an invincible army with the intent of bringing Team USA back to success in the international arena after the recent failure of the 2023 World Cup held on Asian soil.

As we have already told you, Team USA’s roster for the upcoming Olympics should almost certainly count on the talents of LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker and JRue Holiday.
