Kevin Durant to Lakers, here’s the trade hypothesis on the plate

The proposed deal that would bring 13-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns to the Los Angeles Lakers is something more concrete than you might think.

Trade rumors involving “KD” began to circulate after it was reported that the player became frustrated with the direction the Suns (15-15) were taking at the start of their season. The reasons were the unavailability of fellow All-Star Bradley Beal due to injury and the “underwhelming” performance of the team’s supporting cast.

Among the trade proposals that have been floating around is Durant to the Lakers for D’Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, Taurean Prince, Max Christie and two future first-round picks.

The Suns broke a three-game losing streak Wednesday with a 129 to 113 victory over the Houston Rockets. Kevin Durant posted a triple-double of 27 points, 16 assists and 10 rebounds. Eric Gordon also scored 27 points, while Devin Booker added 20.

Let’s see if Kevin Durant to the Los Angeles Lakers will be more than just a suggestion. It’s going to be a particularly hot, if not extremely hot, January.
