Jokic brothers do A BOT in the stands: NBA opens investigation

Nikola Jokic, again this year, is dominating the series against the Los Angeles Lakers that has the Denver Nuggets currently ahead 2-0. In Game 2, ultimately decided by a buzzer beater from Jamal Murray, the Serbian center finished with 27 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists in 41′. Getting the Jokic family talking in recent hours has not been Nikola, but rather. his two older brothers, Strahinja and Nemanja, already famous in the NBA world for various episodes, some goliardic, some not.

In 2021 for example, they had threatened via social media the Morris brothers after Jokic hit Markieff in the back. In the hours immediately following Game 2, a video circulated on social media of Strahinja and Nemanja Jokic instead starting a brawl in the stands of the Ball Arena. What would appear to be Strahinja is also caught on camera while he delivers a punch to the face to another fan. In the clip, in addition to the two brothers, Jokic’s wife, Natalija, can also be seen standing next to them as they argue heatedly with other fans. It is unclear at the moment what prompted this condemnable episode.

As written by TMZ, the NBA has opened an investigation into the incident and punishments for the Jokic brothers, such as banning them from attending more games, are not ruled out.
