Third time’s the charm. After finishing two consecutive seasons in second place, Joel Embiid finally got his hands on the trophy of MVP, surpassing Nikola Jokic at the end of a spectacular season. The center of the Philadelphia 76ers was the NBA’s leading scorer with 33.1 points average, to which he added 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.7 blocks. His Sixers finished the regular season in third place in the East with a 54-28 record.
