Jimmy Butler, during the play-in against the Philadelphia 76ers, was seriously injured. Tests showed a medial collateral ligament sprain in his right knee: the star of the Miami Heat will be out for several weeks and in all likelihood will not take the court again this postseason. A very hard blow to Miami, which now sees its chances of not only winning an eventual first-round series, but even passing tonight’s play-in against Chicago, deeply diminished.
Butler’s injury came in the first quarter, when during a transition Kelly Oubre Jr jumped to stop him. In the collision, Jimmy fell badly on his knee, still remaining on the court for the rest of the game and playing 40′. However, the Miami player himself had admitted that he was surprised by the pain in his knee and that not even adrenaline could do anything to make him play a sufficient game.

Last night, when the Heat announced that Jimmy Butler would not be available for the match against the Bulls, the same player commented on the team’s Instagram post tagging Oubre: “We throwing hands.”. An expression that is difficult to translate literally, but sounds like a threat against the opponent. A kind of: “I’m going to lay my hands on you.”.
