Isaiah Thomas confirmed by Suns despite very limited minutes

Phoenix Suns have decided To sign with a second 10-day contract Isaiah Thomas, after the former expired in recent hours. The veteran will therefore remain with the team for another 10 days, hoping to find more space.

During this first stint in Phoenix, Thomas played only 10′: 2 in the first useful game, the one against Philadelphia on March 21, and 8 last night against Oklahoma City in garbage time. Against the Thunder, IT also found his first points of the season: 2/4 from the field for 5 points.

Before returning to the NBA, Thomas had been a free agent for nearly two years. Then the G-League signing and 4 games all above 30 points to convince the Suns to give him a chance. After this second 10-day contract, Phoenix will perforce have to decide whether to confirm him for the rest of the season and postseason or release him.
