“I couldn’t lose today”: LeBron dedicates win to Bronny who chose which college to play at

May 6, 2023, was a very special day for LeBron James and his family. Aside from the fact that it led the Los Angeles Lakers to an important 127-97 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of their second-round NBA playoff series, it was also the same day that LeBron’s eldest son Bronny James made the big decision to choose USC as the college where he would study and play.

After finishing with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the game-3 win, LeBron could not help but get emotional in his postgame interview when asked to share his thoughts on Bronny deciding to bring his talents to USC:

“One of the best days of my life. First of all congratulations to Bronny on the decision he made. Super proud of him; our family is proud of him. It is a proud moment to see my son go to college. He is the first to go to college in my family, I could not lose today. No matter the outcome of this game, I personally could not have lost today. But this success is the icing on the cake.”.
