How did Wembanyama’s very first race in the NBA world go?

Tonight Victor Wembanyama played his very first game in the NBA world., although it was a preseason friendly against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Let’s just say that the French phenom has already shown what he is made of because he put up a 20 points, the result of a more than decent 8/13 from the field, including 2/5 from three and 6/8 from two-point range, topped by 5 rebounds.

He will probably over the course of his NBA career play better games than these however, as this was the first challenge he played against an NBA franchise, it didn’t go badly at all, especially considering that was on the court only 19 minutes and 22 seconds. He basically put up more points than minutes played.

The only negative data of the first time in the NBA for Victor Wembanyama are the 4 lost balls, too many for in not even 20 minutes on the parquet. He has to better in this respect, as 0 assists is not a good figure, he who has the qualities to put his teammates in rhythm from the low post. He definitely has a lot of room for improvement, but as a first-timer, it’s by no means a throwaway. Sure, it would have been better to win, rather than lose by 1. But it’s still preseason.
