HOPE of Miami and New Orleans going to the playoffs! Sacramento and Chicago out

The Miami Heat and New Orleans Pelicans pulled off a true masterpiece on the night because no one thought they could beat the Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings without Jimmy Butler and Zion Williamson, respectively. Instead, it resoundingly happened.

The Heat were led by a near triple-double Tyler Herro (24 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists) and managed to beat the Illinois franchise so that they now nab Boston in the first round of the playoffs in the East. Brandon Ingram (24 points and 6 assists) and Jonas Valanciunas (19 points and 12 rebounds) led the way for New Orleans. A more than adequate De’Aaron Fox and the usual Domantas Sabonis’ 23 points and 14 rebounds, the Lithuanian’s classic triple-double, were not enough for the Kings. Too bad, however, that the Lithuanian going to the playoffs is the other one.

Miami, as mentioned above, will immediately meet the Boston Celtics, in a rematch of last year’s conference finals, while the Pelicans will take on the surprise Oklahoma City Thunder, with a Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who has no intention of leaving anything to chance. We’ll see how they play out. Entertainment is assured with these Miami Heat and New Orleans Pelicans.
