Grizzlies worried about Ja Morant’s injury: in serious doubt for Game 2

The defeat in Game-1 vs. Los Angeles Lakers that caused them to lose the home court factor in the series may not be the worst news in the last few hours for the Memphis Grizzlies. During the fourth period of the challenge against the yellow-viola in fact Ja Morant fell badly after one of his classic leaps, injuring his right hand. The situation immediately appeared quite serious, with Morant running to the locker room and never returning to the field.

The point guard later reappeared on the bench in the last minutes of the game with a bandage on his injured hand. At the end of the challenge, in a press conference, Morant seemed quite pessimistic about his presence for Game 2, which will be played the Italian night between Tuesday and Wednesday also in Memphis. The Grizzlies star stated. he couldn’t even unroll a pair of socks in the locker room., because of the pain he felt in his hand. He will undergo tests in the next few hours, but Memphis may have to do without him for the next few games.

However, Coach Taylor Jenkins specified that the X-ray came back negative, so there are no fractures in Morant’s hand.
