Goran Dragic, an NBA veteran with 15 years under his belt, recently announced the star-studded lineup for his farewell event, which will be held Aug. 23 and 24 in Ljubljana during the upcoming summer.
“I wanted to bring all the stars I played with.”, Dragic said Thursday, via Sport Klub. He went on to name some big names who will be present in Ljubljana. The list includes stars such as Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Luis Scola, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jimmy Butler, Jeff Hornacek, Kevin McHale and Steve Nash, among others.
After ending his previous season and playing his last game on April 22, the 37-year-old Dragic became a free agent.
Joining the NBA in 2008 as a second-round pick of the San Antonio Spurs, with subsequent trade to the Phoenix Suns, Dragic has worn the jerseys of several teams throughout his remarkable career. These include the Suns, Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks.
Let’s see if Goran Dragic will throw in some more goodies between now and August; we don’t feel like ruling him out right now. The Slovenian has really played with some crazy phenomena!
