I Milwaukee Bucks are not having the happiest of times: after 7 consecutive W’s, have lost 4 of their next 7 games and are now 3.5 games behind the Boston Celtics, in second place in the East. The situation obviously does not please Giannis Antetokounmpo, who tried to motivate not only his teammates but the whole environment around the team.
After the last knockout against Houston, in which he scored 48 points with 17 rebounds, Giannis stated:
We have to improve, we have to play better and defend better, we have to trust each other more and we have to be coached better. Every single aspect needs to be improved. Starting with the equipment manager, he has to wash our uniforms better. The bench has to do better, the team leader has to be more vocal, we have to score more shots, we have to defend better, we have to have a better strategy, we have to be better. We have four months to improve, we will see.
In the next games Milwaukee awaits the Jazz, a direct clash against the Celtics, Golden State and Sacramento, all at home. We will see if Giannis Antetokounmpo and his teammates can turn things around.
