Giannis Antetokounmpo on triple-double against Washington, but last rebound…

Giannis Antetokounmpo certainly does not have a hard time scoring triple-doubles: so far this season he has totaled four. The last one, tonight against the Washington Wizards, however, turned his nose up at it. With the Bucks ahead 117-111, what would later also be the final result, Antetokounmpo in fact did not just dribble waiting for the buzzer to sound.

Having so far accumulated 23 points, 13 assists and “only” 9 rebounds, the Greek headed in disturbed under the basket, faked a missed shot and captured the rebound just before the buzzer sounded. That rebound was precisely the tenth, and it secured him his fourth triple-double of his season. Of course, it will also probably draw him several criticisms in a league that tends to accuse him of stats-padding very easily, as was the case with Nikola Jokic in recent days.
