Gallinari: “Regrets? Injuries … and maybe being a little selfish!”

Danilo Gallinari, new player for the Washington Wizards, released a lengthy interview with Federico Rana in the newspaper Libero where he talked about several topics, especially his return to the field with Washington, his career regrets and the Italian national team, which hopes to reach Paris 2024 next summer.

NBA REGRETS.

Definitely the 3 injuries. They came at the worst possible times: in New York as a rookie, in Denver with probably the best roster he ever played with, and last year in a contender. Another regret maybe is being unselfish, here I feel I was wrong, it is crucial to be selfish if you want to reach the All-Star level. Many people have told me that, teammates and opponents. If I had been, maybe it would have been different.”

NATIONAL

“On hand, I hope I can lend a hand to the group next summer to try to reach an important goal as the Olympics is.”

We invite you to read the full interview with Danilo Gallinari in Libero.

As Italians we hope with all of ourselves that Gallinari remains physically intact this year and that he can be instrumental with the national team next summer at the Pre-Olympic, wherever it will be played and against whatever opponent we will face.
