Milwaukee Bucks, Khris Middleton becomes free agent

On the night marked by the maxi trade involving Gallinari, Porzingis and Smart, there was also another market news.

Khris Middleton, in fact, has decided to decline the player option which would allow him to receive $40.4 million from the Milwuakee Bucks in the upcoming season. Definitely surprise move by a 32-year-old player who has had several injury problems in recent years between his right knee and left wrist.

All to be understood is the future of Middleton, who is unlikely to aspire to a more onerous contract. The impression is that between him and the Bucks there may already be an agreement for a new contract spread out over the years, with lower figures in the immediate term but with more guarantees than a single season. For the moment, however, the player is one of the luxury free agents on the NBA market.
