Rather unusual news case in the G-League, where the player Chance Comanche has been in the past few hours arrested by the FBI on kidnapping charges.. The boy, a Stockton Kings center who also appeared in an NBA game with Portland last season, is a suspect in the disappearance of a woman in Las Vegas.
The woman answers to the name of Marayna Rodgers, 23, and has been missing since Dec. 6. The night before her disappearance, Comanche was committed to the Kings just a few miles from Las Vegas. The franchise, after the allegations, immediately cut the player. On Dec. 13, a girl, Sakari Harnden, a 19-year-old friend of Rodgers, had already been arrested, also for kidnapping, and is currently being held in the Las Vegas jail on charges of holding the victim against her will with the aim of killing or harming her. Bail has been set at $500,000.
Marayna Rodgers is currently still reported missing and it is not known if she is still alive.
