Ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season, the annual survey has unveiled intriguing insights from the league’s general managers. And there’s also Nikola Mirotic in a ranking compiled by NBA GMs.
Finals MVP Nikola Jokic emerged as the centerpiece of the poll, getting the majority of votes for MVP, franchise cornerstone, best center, best passer and best basketball IQ.
The spotlight is also on Victor Wembanyama, hailed as the most promising draft prospect of the past two decades. Although he has yet to step on an NBA court, an incredible 90% of GMs predict him to be a top player five years from now. Twenty-three percent of decision makers listed the 19-year-old San Antonio Spurs as their preferred choice to build a franchise.
Meanwhile, EA7 Emporio Armani Milano wing Nikola Mirotic leads the list of top international players not playing in the NBA for GMs, with a substantial 37 percent of the vote. Edy Tavares and Alex Sarr follow closely with 27% and 13%, while Dzanan Musa and Willy Hernangomez round out the Top 5 with 10% and 7%, respectively.
