FONTECCHIO’s season high and Utah wins again! Portland KO

Simone Fontecchio continues in his excellent form and finally the Utah Jazz are getting back to winning conitnuity as they are on their second win in a row, this time against the Portland Trail-Blazers. The Italian scored his own season high of 24 points, shooting 5 of 5 from long distance, also adding 5 rebounds to his performance from nearly 25 minutes on the floor of Portland’s Moda Center..

Simone was voted MVP of the match due to his borderline perfect performance. The good news is that the Jazz won without Lauri Markkanen, still KO after only one post-injury match, and Jordan Clarkson, who is still out. Co-leaders in the Salt Lake City franchise’s success were Collin Secton and Talen Horton-Tucker.

Fontecchio again tonight showed why he deserves to be in the NBA and why the Utah Jazz play him so much, with a super performance against the Portland Trail-Blazers. We are really proud of what the former Baskonia and Alba Berlin is doing but we also hope that he can continue like this and maybe even improve in the coming months. It will not be easy but we really believe in it!
