Fontecchio crazy? Don\’t miss the Utah Jazz scrimmage!

Simone Fontecchio and the Utah Jazz are slowly approaching their debut in the 2022-2023 NBA season. The first match of the season is scheduled between Wednesday and Thursday night against Nikola Jokic\’s Denver Nuggets, the one humiliated by Italy in Berlin.

In case, however, you can\’t even wait until Tuesday night to see Fontecchio and the Utah Jazz\’s next preseason contest, you can watch the internal scrimmage again here.

Since this was an in-house scrimmage, the most classic of family games with few fans present at the arena, we do not know how many points the Italian boy from Pescara put up. We do know, though, that he finished this give-and-go action with a beautiful dunk, thrilling the audience in attendance:

This scrimmage allowed Fontecchio and the many other newcomers, including Finland\’s Lauri Markkanen, to showcase themselves before the eyes of Will Hardy and his coaching staff.

We\’ll see if that then translates into a few more minutes on the court for Simo against the San Antonio Spurs Tuesday night in preseason or not. The hope is that they have noticed improvement and will give him more space and opportunity to play and make mistakes.
