Draymond Green reveals his “most professional” teammate — and it’s not Steph Curry

Draymond Green has been in the NBA for some time now. As a matter of fact, at age 33, the four-year, $100 million deal he recently signed with the Golden State Warriors will likely be the last big contract of his career.

During his tenure he has had the opportunity to play with some of the best players this game has ever seen. He has also had the chance to be teammates with some players who are not exactly on their way to the Hall of Fame. One player, in particular, stands out to Green as one of the most outstanding teammates he’s ever had, and it’s not Steph Curry or Klay Thompson. Nor is it Kevin Durant.

In a recent appearance on Podcast P with Paul George presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment, Draymond Green talked about Kevon Looney. The 27-year-old is by no means one of the all-time greats, but he is definitely one of the best teammates Green has ever had:

“I think the best compliment I can give him is that he’s the most professional person and player I’ve ever worked with. Never once is he late. He never gives anyone a chance to get angry and complain to him. He doesn’t complain about anything. He does his job and more. Truly a great professional!”
