Danilo Gallinari, Lakers also in the window in case of divestment

Danilo Gallinari has begun to find space again, though not much, in recent outings with the Detroit Pistons. Since being traded, the Italian has played 5 games with less than 16′ average, on a team that is last in the standings. Moreover, the Rooster’s contract is expiring in the summer and Detroit does not really seem to want to bet on it, which is why another trade for the Italian is possible before the deadline of this Thursday, February 8 (at 9 p.m. Italian time).

According to HoopsHype, one of the franchises reportedly probing for Gallinari would be the Los Angeles Lakers. The yellow-viola, partly because of the pressure made by LeBron James in recent weeks, are the team to watch and may decide to add the Italian veteran to the rotation. Given his expiring contract and almost 36 years of age, the Gallo’s price should not be particularly high.

This season, between Washington and Detroit, Danilo Gallinari has so far scored. 7.5 points on average.
