Golden State Warriors wing Draymond Green is expected to play tonight in his team’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Reporting the news first was Shams Charania of The Athletic. It is a return on Martin Luther King Jr. Day for Green, who has missed the last 16 games.
The former best defensive player of the year was suspended indefinitely by the league for hitting Jusuf Nurkic in the head during a game last Dec. 12.
He eventually served an official 12-game suspension before being reinstated, but missed four more due to the preparation period for his return to the court. According to a report in the Mirror US, Green lost $1.9 million during the suspension period.
Let us see what condition Draymond Green is in and whether he can be determined as of tomorrow, although it will not be easy after so many games of absence. Recall. the Memphis Grizzlies will not be able to count on Ja Morant, who finished the season prematurely due to a shoulder injury.
The question on everyone’s mind is, will Draymond Green commit any more blunders? Only posterity will tell us.
