Draymond Green has begun his journey to a psychologist, decided by the NBA along with an indefinite suspension after recent incidents on the court. The player of the Golden State Warriors, after being suspended five games for grabbing Rudy Gobert by the neck, had punched Jusuf Nurkic last week, although Green had later claimed he did not do it on purpose.
As reported by Shams Charania, Draymond Green will be away from the courts for at least 3 more weeks, so we will see him again in 2024. If the suspension lasts another 3 weeks, Green would have missed 12 games, to join the previous 5. Almost a quarter of the regular season, with salary suspension also attached. For privacy reasons, the NBA will not reveal the details of the path designed for the player, who will return as soon as he proves he is ready.
Warriors’ four-time NBA champion Draymond Green has started counseling process and is expected to remain sidelined via suspension for at least the next three weeks, sources say.
