Luka Doncic comes from another planet, there is no doubt about it. The Dallas Mavericks superstar played against the New York Knicks as if he had just reached basketball Nirvana, netting an insane 60-point triple-double in the Dallas Mavericks’ 126 to 121 comeback victory.
Such a performance had never been seen before:
Luka Doncic is the ONLY player in all of NBA HISTORY to record a game with 60+ PTS, 20+ REB and 10+ AST 🤯
His performance also earned him a spot that no other Mavs outside of Dirk Nowitzki had ever achieved before. With the night just gone, Doncic became the second player in Mavs franchise history to have at least 50 points and 15 rebounds in a game. The only other time that happened was back in 2004 with the legendary Dirk Nowitzki authoring the feat, second ESPN Stats & Info.
For the record, Luka Doncic finished with an incredible 60-point, 21-rebound statistic–both career highs–and 10 assists with also 2 recovered balls and 1 stoppage in 47 minutes. He did everything for the Mavs and despite his incredibly high usage of him in the match, he still committed only 4 turnovers. Doncic shot 21 of 31 from the field and finished with 16 of 22 from the free throw line. Legendary.
