Danilo Gallinari has been training hard this summer to be nearly 100 percent ready for his NBA premiere in the Washington Wizards’ 2023-2024 season.
Well, let’s just say that he turned all the efforts he put in right away into points. In fact, the Rooster played 17 minutes and 10 seconds at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis against the Indiana Pacers and put up 16 points, the result of a very good 4 of 7 from the field and 6 of 6 from the charity line.
The 1988 class was also present under the boards as he took 3 rebounds and was good at not committing turnovers. Unfortunately, however, this very good performance by Danilo Gallinari. after more than 1 year of absence from NBA parquet floors wasn’t enough to prevent defeat to his new team, the Washington Wizards, sent to the mat by the Indiana Pacers’ eight players in double figures, including Bruce Brown’s 24 points and Tyrese Haliburton’s 20 plus 11 assists.
On a win-loss level, we know it will not be an easy season for the Wizards. However, we are equally certain that the Rooster will do everything to bring as many victories as possible to the capitols. Let’s see how it will go and if he succeeds!
