Danilo Gallinari has chosen: he will end the season at the Milwaukee Bucks

Danilo Gallinari will play the second half of the season with the Milwaukee Bucks: The Italian has chosen the 2021 NBA champion franchise among many suitors, as reported by Shams Charania. The Rooster had been cut in recent days by the Detroit Pistons because he was not in line with the project of rebuilding and expiring in the summer. Now he will have a chance to play for a contender, which recently changed coaches and is in third place in the East with a 35-20 record.

The Bucks were one of the teams mentioned in the past few hours by Patrick Beverley, now Gallinari’s new partner, who had improvised as an insider talking about Milwaukee and the Clippers. Both were also confirmed by The Athletic, which, however, also adds Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls to the list of candidates for Gallinari.

In the end, however, Danilo Gallinari chose the Bucks where, in addition to Beverley himself, he will also find again Doc Rivers, his own coach at the Clippers between 2017 and 2019. So far the Italian, 36 years old next August, has played only 32 games in the season between Washington and Detroit: in Milwaukee he will be Giannis Antetokounmpo’s backup along with Jae Crowder.
