CRAZY Jalen Brunson! Closed out a January with stats the NBA HAS NOT SEEN IN DECADES.

The New York Knicks easily defeated Simone Fontecchio’s Utah Jazz tonight. With this success, Jalen Brunson ended the month of January with statistics the league really hasn’t seen in decades.

The 27-year-old guard recorded a plus-minus of +256 during the month, marking the second-best performance in the category in NBA history since plus-minus has been among the indicators since the mid-1990s.

First on the list is Scottie Pippen, who recorded an astonishing +272 in November 1996. We also point out that OG Anunoby, who was traded from the Toronto Raptors to the New York Knicks this season, recorded the fourth-best plus-minus ever with +252 in January.

In early January, Anunoby set an NBA record in the category by acquiring +111 plus-minus in his first five games with the team.

Jalen Brunson is having a banner year, averaging 26.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game, all career bests. And some are even talking MVP for him. Maybe a little too much but it gives you a sense of Brunson’s level this season!

The Knicks finished the month of January with an impressive 14-2 record. They are now third in the Eastern Eastern Conference.
