The season of LaMelo Ball had started late and will close early, given the ankle fracture suffered in the last game against Detroit. The point guard of the Charlotte Hornets will not take the field again this season, ending the year with 36 games played, 23.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 8.4 assists average.
LaMelo’s ankle problems have been constant this season, first with many sprains and now precisely with the fracture that has knocked him out for a long time.
Hornets All-Star LaMelo Ball will miss the remainder of the season with his fractured right ankle, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Ball has had multiple left ankle sprains this season before suffering the right ankle fracture on Monday night.
