Carmelo Anthony SHOCK on Doc Rivers: ‘Never heard a player speak well of him’

One of the biggest topics of discussion in the NBA is about the Milwaukee Bucks’ new coach, Doc Rivers, and whether he is right for the job. The basketball media has had a negative reaction to Doc Rivers, and now former player Carmelo Anthony has joined this list, stating on his show “7PM In Brooklyn” that he has “never heard anyone speak well of Doc.”

“As a player you knew Doc would be ready for you, but I’ve never heard, and Doc and I have a good relationship, anybody say anything good about Doc. If you think about it, let’s go back, Doc has been coaching for about 20 years. I don’t know what the problem is, I’m not in those locker rooms, but I just know the narrative is that nobody has anything good to say about Doc.”, Carmelo Anthony said about Doc Rivers.

For a player like Anthony and how many years he’s been in the NBA, it can be a shock to hear that he hasn’t heard any players speak highly of Rivers. Anthony played in the NBA from 2003 until 2022 and was on six different teams, where he had the most popularity with the New York Knicks from 2011 to 2017.
