Bronny James signs a contract with Nike as his father

Bronny James recently turned 18, but he has been talked about as LeBron\’s heir in the NBA for quite some time. This definition is certainly exaggerated at the moment, as Bronny is ranked 41st by 247Sports in the prospect rankings for the 2023 Draft class. However, at least media-wise, there is no fellow peer of his attracting so much attention. In recent hours, the eldest son of the James family. signed an endorsement contract with Nike, just as his father LeBron did at the same age, just entering the NBA. At that time only professionals could do that, but now NCAA rules allow it too.

Bronny James will then be linked to Nike for image and name rights, as will other student-athletes Caitlin Clark, Haley Jones, Juju Watkins and DJ Wagner. The figures for the deal are not known, but the signing with the Swoosh is another factor that links him to LeBron James. Waiting to see what Bronny\’s future will be: whether he will go to college (he has several offers) or turn pro immediately in the G-League or Australia.

We\’re excited to announce the newest student athletes to join our Nike family: Caitlin Clark, Bronny James, Haley Jones, DJ Wagner and Juju Watkins.
