Blake Griffin has finally found a team in the NBA

A few days after the start of NBA training camps, Blake Griffin, who remained a free agent throughout the offseason, has finally found a team. As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski, Griffin will sign a guaranteed annual (probably at minimum wage) with the Boston Celtics. The long man will thus be the natural replacement for the injured Danilo Gallinari and will also fill some of the minutes of Robert Williams III, who will be absent for the next 2-3 months.

Griffin, 33, is coming off a season and a half at the Brooklyn Nets, but had completely fallen out of Steve Nash’s plans in recent months. The veteran had then been drafted back into the Playoffs, right against Boston, but failed to avoid the sweep suffered by the bianconeri in the first round. Last season, Blake Griffin scored. 6.4 points on average with 4.1 rebounds.
