Second game of Paul Banchero even better than the first. The first overall pick in the last draft led the Orlando Magic to Summer League success against the Sacramento Kings, 94-92 after two overtimes. The wing who was promised to Italbasket finished with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, 2 stoppages and 8 turnovers in 34′, shooting 6/15 from the field and 11/15 at the free.
Banchero in these first two outings immediately made the eyes of all Magic fans shine, proving to be not only an excellent scorer but also a respectable point guard. Sure the 8 turnovers are a blemish on his performance, but some of the assists he dished out against Sacramento were remarkable. To top it off, Banchero also scored by dunking in 360° on a fast break during the first quarter.

The game was very balanced and was decided by a layup by Emanuel Terry right off an assist from Banchero. In contrast, the other rookie with the spotlight on him, Keegan Murray, the Kings’ fourth overall pick, scored 20 points with nine rebounds.
