John Collins, who attempted to contest Anthony Edwards’ dunk, was evaluated for a concussion, according to the Jazz. He was eventually ruled out for a head contusion, but not a concussion, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Collins was visibly shaken after attempting to contest Anthony Edwards’ dunk of the year. His next chance to take the court will be Wednesday against Oklahoma City, but his status for the rest of the week could be uncertain. In his place, Walker Kessler will likely get more minutes, while Luka Samanic could rejoin the rotation and Taylor Hendricks’ versatility could be exploited.
We hope, of course, that John Collins will be able to return to the court soon, partly because the situation seems less serious than expected. However, there remains the great blow taken by Ant-Man and especially the poster who will never be forgotten again.
