An era ends in Cleveland: buyout for Kevin Love

Now of the NBA title won in 2016, at the Cleveland Cavaliers, there is really no one left. Also Kevin Love, the only survivor of that feat, agreed in recent hours to the buyout, as reported by The Athletic.

Love, 34, is maintaining 8.5 points and 6.8 rebounds average this season. After some even behavior problems in the past, when the Cavs were one of the worst teams in the league, Love has carved out a veteran role for himself in the locker room, agreeing to come off the bench.

His contract, signed in 2018, has still been a heavy ballast for Cleveland but will expire in the summer. Kevin Love Will earn nearly $29 million this season, without considering the “discount” he will give the Cavaliers in the buyout. According to Shams Charania, one of the first teams to knock on his door will be the Miami Heat.
